Streambliss vs ShadowPlay

Instant replay on any graphics card, with a link to share.

ShadowPlay, now Instant Replay in the NVIDIA App, saves the last moments of your game as a file on your PC. Streambliss saves them with F8 too, on NVIDIA, AMD and Intel graphics, and uploads the clip so you can share it as a link.

Where Streambliss is different

Any graphics card
Capture records with the video encoder of your NVIDIA, AMD or Intel graphics card, so a new card never means a new recorder.
From game to link
Press F8 and the clip uploads on its own. No file to find, no upload page, just a link to paste.
Private until you decide
New clips stay in your library. You choose who watches, and you can switch a link off or replace it without uploading again.

Where ShadowPlay is ahead

ShadowPlay is part of NVIDIA's own software, records up to 8K HDR and needs no server, because everything stays on your disk. If you keep clips only for yourself and play on an NVIDIA card, it is hard to beat. If you share your clips, or play on AMD or Intel graphics, Streambliss saves you the upload step.

Questions

Does Streambliss work on AMD and Intel graphics?

Yes. Capture uses the hardware video encoder of NVIDIA, AMD and Intel graphics cards on Windows 10 and 11.

Is Streambliss free?

Yes. The free plan includes the recorder for Windows, 10 GB of storage and videos up to 250 MB, kept for 180 days. Pro costs €10 a month and keeps your videos until you delete them.

Can I upload my ShadowPlay clips?

Yes. Drop the files into your library in the browser. They get the same links and qualities as clips you record with Streambliss.

Which games work?

Capture recognises over 10,000 games by itself and records any other game you add. In Counter-Strike 2 and VALORANT it saves your kills automatically, and F9 marks a moment in any game.
