How to clip in League of Legends

A pentakill takes twelve seconds and nobody starts a recording for it. Streambliss Capture keeps the last moments in memory, so F8 after the fifth kill still has the first.

Clipping League of Legends in four steps

1. Install the recorder
Streambliss Capture is free for Windows 10 and 11. It installs for your user, needs no driver and no restart.
2. Play as usual
The recorder notices the game on its own and keeps the last moments in memory. Nothing is written to disk until you ask for it.
3. Press F8
The moment you just played is saved while you keep playing. F8 is the default key for it.
4. Share one link
Upload the clip and you get a link that plays in Discord and in any browser, with nothing for the viewer to install.

What is worth clipping in League of Legends

Pentakills, a flash that dodges the hook, a steal at Baron. The teamfight is the clip; the twenty seconds of walking up to it are not.

Questions about clipping League of Legends

Does it record the client as well as the game?

It records the game. The client is a window like any other, so if you want a draft on video you can record it, but by default the recorder waits for the match.

Is there a watermark on the clip?

No. Streambliss puts no watermark on a clip, on the free plan or on any other. What you recorded is what goes out.

Does the recorder inject into the game?

No. Capture reads frames through the capture path Windows provides and never injects code into the game. The in-game overlay that would need injection is switched off.

Do I need an account to record?

Recording and the editor run on your PC. An account is for uploading a clip and getting the link you can share.
