How to clip in Minecraft
Minecraft gives you hours and then one minute that matters. Streambliss Capture keeps the last moments in memory, so F8 saves the redstone that finally worked or the creeper that almost ended the world.
Clipping Minecraft in four steps
- 1. Install the recorder
- Streambliss Capture is free for Windows 10 and 11. It installs for your user, needs no driver and no restart.
- 2. Play as usual
- The recorder notices the game on its own and keeps the last moments in memory. Nothing is written to disk until you ask for it.
- 3. Press F8
- The moment you just played is saved while you keep playing. F8 is the default key for it.
- 4. Share one link
- Upload the clip and you get a link that plays in Discord and in any browser, with nothing for the viewer to install.

What is worth clipping in Minecraft
A contraption firing for the first time, a close call in hardcore, a personal best on a speedrun split. Builds are worth a clip too, but a slow pan over a finished build beats a long walk through it.
Questions about clipping Minecraft
Does it record modded Minecraft and servers?
Yes. The recorder records the window the game draws, so modpacks, servers and vanilla all work the same way.
Is there a watermark on the clip?
No. Streambliss puts no watermark on a clip, on the free plan or on any other. What you recorded is what goes out.
Does the recorder inject into the game?
No. Capture reads frames through the capture path Windows provides and never injects code into the game. The in-game overlay that would need injection is switched off.
Do I need an account to record?
Recording and the editor run on your PC. An account is for uploading a clip and getting the link you can share.
Record your next Minecraft session
Free for Windows 10 and 11, no watermark, and your clips stay private until you hand out a link.
